How Sentinel works

Check-In Notification
A push notification is sent directly to the guard's Sentinel mobile app when a scheduled check-in is due.

Reminder Notification
If the guard does not respond within 2 minutes, Sentinel sends a second push notification to the mobile app.

Supervisor Escalation
If the guard still has not responded after an additional 5 minutes, Sentinel automatically places a phone call to the assigned supervisor, notifying them of the missed check-in.

Last Known Location
Sentinel records the guard's most recent GPS location, providing supervisors with the latest available location information during an escalation.
